just because neck warmer

well I wanted a quickie project just so I can feel like I accomplished something today LOL..so I dragged out my experimental Navajo plied yarn that I made up from that ugly batt.. and used jumbo needles with the jumbo yarn (i think its about 2-3 wpi) and made a jumbo neck warmer..now I am trying to decide whether to close up the circle or put in a button.. hmmm here is a wip picture of it

Polymer baby sculpture

ok here he/she is.. I haven't sculpted in a long while and usually I make weird ugly dolls...but I have wanted to try my hand at making a polymer baby.. you can tell its a practice piece because of the lint flecks and general unsmoothness of the clay but I am happy with it :)

cleaned out a bunch of sculpting tools that I no longer use.. they are listed on ebay

Digging out the clay...

I am making headway in the mess that is the spare room/studio.. And with the weather cooling I am actually looking forward to digging out some clay and sculpting! Since it has been a while I will post some pictures of previous stuff.. some of the photos are NOT that great but it will give you an idea of other stuff that I do besides the fibery goodies

Dusty Attic

my second novelty yarn all done.. of course I wind it into a ball but forgot to measure it ... my brain is in slow motion today. so will have to redo but wanted to post pictures before I added it to my etsy shoppe

hmmm nope didn't happen

that big clear out I had planned didn't happen.. friday we were on our way to my sons JV game and the right front tire went kaplooey! so had to replace both front tires since the left one was on the verge of kaplooey-ing...totally blew my weekend so now I am to lazy to do any sorting and cleaning... grrr... there went money I really didn't have..sigh.. its always the way isn't it? So next weekend I will attempt the clear out again. I just want to simplify and declutter some more. I have already gotten rid of a BUNCH of stuff but lots more to go thru!

Frustration

nothing is going right today.. I just can't seem to "get with it" ..I am in the mood for a major clear out of STUFF that seems to grow when one is not paying attention! On a crafty note.. tried my hand at Navajo plying ..using the ugly batt yarn only did a wee bit just to see if I was even remotely coordinated..it came out like a giant fat Caterpillar .. will have to post a pix of it .. got my WIP just about done that one will remain a single ply
